Youth Related Masonic Organizations
DeMolay International
DeMolay is an organization for boys aged 12 - 21 which strives to teach lessons of leadership, character building, and teamwork. DeMolay is an international organization based in the United States which has several jurisdictions world-wide.
DeMolay is a proper Masonic Concordant Body and as such is responsible for its own Chapter's success in terms of generating their own funds to pay for rent and activities, as well as building the skills to be able to confer their own degrees and plan their own activities including their Obligatory Days. Obligatory Days are designated days throughout the year when each Chapter is required to perform some sort of civic duty which helps build the community in which they meet.
There are two degrees in DeMolay: The Initiatory Degree and The DeMolay Degree.
